Talents
|
Dominique Van Dijcke
offers a rich background in administration, management, and business
development. Coupled with her fluency in several languages and her
personal accessibility, she is key to managing our European activities and
assuring the interface between US operations and European clients.
One of Dominique's key
strengths is her willingness to learn and ability to grasp complex issues in
healthcare, biopharma, and science - when her academic training was in
languages and management. Just as much, she brings the wisdom of
knowing when to defer and build a team around her to respond to client
inquiries or address project issues. Her easy-going yet professional
and culturally-sensitive communication skills facilitates the work
MATRIX45,
while also breaking down the barriers that inevitably arise when different
languages and cultures come together in business development and project
execution.

Experience
|
Dominique brings a
background and skill set that may seem diverse but integrate remarkably well
in her professional work. She started her career at the Court of First
Instance of the European Union in Luxembourg, where she set up and managed
the administration of a new judicial department (1989-1992)). After
returning to Belgium, she worked as an executive recruiting consultant for
an international search firm, handling many human resources engagements and
overall customer relations (1992-1996). As Director of Human Resources
in the European headquarters of a US based production company, she
coordinated all aspects of HR in a diverse workforce, as well as various
legal and financial matters (1996-2000). She then joined The Epsilon
Group as Director of European Operations, spearheading the rapid expansion
of The Epsilon Group in Europe until joining up with previous colleagues in
the launch of
MATRIX45.
In keeping
MATRIX45's
mission to link private enterprise with the academic sector (and because of
her love for adult education),
Dominique teaches part-time applied French in the Faculty of Economics and
Business, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, the Faculty of Economics,
Katholieke Universiteit Brussel, and the Leuven Institute for Professional
Advancement (all in Belgium).
